Hey friends, we've uploaded audio of our MilkBoy set from last month's show. The audio's not great, but Eric's performance was. Which shouldn't come as a surprise because he truly played every show like it was his last. If you've got 30 minutes, please give it a listen.
Rest easy, Gene. You were both too wild and too sweet for this earth. The world lost our namesake this week, yet it gained a Gene Wildest/Electric Six team-up at MilkBoy in Philly on October 4th. So there's that. All right, we know it can't completely ease our collective grieving, but it's a start, right? Get your tickets here. We're excited for this one.
There's been a lot of talk recently about ghost-this, ghost-that. Busting, -isbehere, emails, octopus, governments.... You could say ghosts are trending. And if you thought Gene Wildest are above throwing their sweat-stained hats into that buzzfood ring, you are way off, my friends. We're hoppin' aboard that hashtagcontent train, and riding it all the way to the bank. We swear we won't #ghost on you loyal fans on our way to the top.
We've booked a string of weekend shows through the end of the year, and we'll be hitting some new towns, including Ewing and Bensalem! We've got a handful of new tunes that are just waiting to get some booties shaking, too, so check out the Shows page for more info on where and when you can rock with us.
Here's one we've been playing for some time and, thankfully, finally recorded. And, no, Brian didn't finally hit puberty. That's Eric you hear on vocals...for the first, but certainly not the last, time.
We had a lot of fun at Kung Fu Necktie a couple of weeks ago, and we got the chance to debut a handful of new songs. Take a looksie. I've heard that if you close your eyes and listen to this song enough times, summer will come 13 weeks early. I know, whoever said that's a real dingus. |
