Future Flowers has arrived! Give it a listen on your favorite streaming app or buy a physical copy at our store along with some new t-shirts. Or just come see us May 23rd at Johnny Brenda's where we'll be celebrating its release!
It's been a while! Let's catch up. We'll be at Ortlieb's in Philly on Friday, May 25th, playing songs off of our upcoming releases...the first of which will feature a song that we happened to make a music video for that you can watch right now, below. Of course, you will be able to watch an alien play guitar in it. And of course, we can't wait to see you all soon and share some new tunes. We've got some freshies for ya! A new website, new photos (courtesy of Greg Howe), and we're working on a slew of new recordings to share with you. In the meantime, peruse the site, enjoy this video of us performing one of our new ones - Just Let Me Bleed - and buy your ticket to The Barbary show this Saturday night! We hope to see you there.
Come join us Saturday, April 22 for a night paying tribute to Eric, enjoying live music, and lending a helping hand. For $30, you'll get unlimited food, domestic beer, and wine from 6 pm to 10 pm. The Not Fur Longs and Human Sounds are joining us on stage, and there will be auctions and raffles a plenty. Come celebrate the life of an awesome man, and help support his incredible family at the same time. We hope to see you there!
Hey friends, we've uploaded audio of our MilkBoy set from last month's show. The audio's not great, but Eric's performance was. Which shouldn't come as a surprise because he truly played every show like it was his last. If you've got 30 minutes, please give it a listen. Rest easy, Gene. You were both too wild and too sweet for this earth. The world lost our namesake this week, yet it gained a Gene Wildest/Electric Six team-up at MilkBoy in Philly on October 4th. So there's that. All right, we know it can't completely ease our collective grieving, but it's a start, right? Get your tickets here. We're excited for this one.
We've booked a string of weekend shows through the end of the year, and we'll be hitting some new towns, including Ewing and Bensalem! We've got a handful of new tunes that are just waiting to get some booties shaking, too, so check out the Shows page for more info on where and when you can rock with us.
We've had a lot of fun this past month. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows. Check out photos from XO Lounge here (one pictured above) and videos from Kung Fu Necktie here (one featured below). In addition to playing our handful of new songs, we've been making an effort to vary our sets from show to show to keep your whiskers tingling. We'll be continuing this trend at our newly added show this Thursday, November 20th, at The Fire, playing the rest of our catalogue that hasn't seen the light the day in months. Check the Shows page for more details about that and our dates at Desmond's Tavern in NYC (12/20) and at Dobbs (1/10). We're coming out of our summer hibernation, tanned and hungry for pumpkin-flavored crap, for hecka shows, and for you to hear the handful of new songs we've been working on. We'll be at Kung Fu Necktie opening up for The Noise FM and Archie Powell & The Exports on October 21, at XO Lounge on November 7, and on December 20, we'll be playing New York City for the first time at Desmond's Tavern in Manhattan. There's a lot to be excited about for each gig, and hopefully, we'll be adding some more very soon. Check our Shows page for details.
